CEO Update

As CEO of both LinkWater and LinkWater Projects, I am very proud to have achieved our original vision of becoming an effective partner in delivering bulk water transport services within the South East Queensland Water Grid.

Our new vision will position LinkWater as the leader in the planning, development and transport of bulk water and related services and we are well on our way.

Through our newly established Infrastructure Planning Team, LinkWater can now offer our expertise in water infrastructure planning, construction and management to our key stakeholders in Queensland's water industry.

LinkWater is successfully managing and operating 535km of existing and new bulk water pipelines and related infrastructure in South East Queensland (SEQ).  LinkWater is upgrading this infrastructure to ensure a world-class bulk water supply system for SEQ.

We are moving, on average, 600 megalitres of water per day (ML/d) into the SEQ distribution network, allowing the sharing of water from various sources around the region for the first time on a grand scale in SEQ's history.

With the recent release of the SEQ Regional Plan and Infrastructure Program, LinkWater will continue to support the Queensland Government's plans for developing the Water Grid and associated projects in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.

Regards,

Peter McManamon
